Eligibility

The Ethiopian Airlines 80th Anniversary 8KM Road Race is open to all individuals aged 16 and over. Minors aged 12–15 may participate with written consent from a parent or guardian.

Conduct

Participants agree to follow event-day instructions from race staff and volunteers. Disruptive or unsafe behaviour may result in disqualification.

Liability waiver

Participation in athletic events carries inherent risk. By registering, you acknowledge that Ethiopian Airlines, the event organisers, sponsors, volunteers, and venue owners are not liable for any injury, loss, or damage arising from your participation, except in cases of gross negligence.

No refunds

This is a free event; no refunds apply.

Cancellation

If the event is cancelled due to circumstances beyond the organisers' control (weather, public health, security), no compensation will be provided. Registrants will be notified via the contact details provided at registration.

Photo & video consent

By participating, you consent to being photographed and/or filmed at the event. Images and footage may be used by Ethiopian Airlines and Jorka for promotional, news, and social media purposes without compensation.
